📋About this Recruitment

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination is India's most prestigious competitive examination. Conducted annually by UPSC, it recruits officers for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and over 20 other Central Services. The examination is open to Indian citizens who hold a bachelor's degree from any recognised university. UPSC CSE is a three-stage examination — Preliminary, Mains, and Interview — spread over approximately one year. The Preliminary exam is objective in nature and serves as a screening test, with only Mains and Interview marks counting toward the final merit list. 1. 1Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in and click on 'Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC'.
2. 2Register with a valid email address and mobile number. Keep your Aadhaar number ready for identity verification.
3. 3Fill in Part I of the application: personal details, educational qualification, category, and photo ID.
4. 4Fill in Part II: exam centre preference, optional subject selection, and upload photograph and signature (JPEG, max 300 KB each).
5. 5Pay the application fee of ₹100 (General/OBC) online via SBI Net Banking, credit/debit card, or UPI. SC/ST/PwBD/Female candidates are exempt.
