Gross Salary Formula
Gross = Basic Pay + DA (60%) + HRA (30/20/10%) + TA + DA on TA

Net In-Hand = Gross β NPS (10% of Basic+DA) β Professional Tax β CGHS β CGEGIS
HRA rates are linked to DA milestones. Since DA crossed 50%, the following rates apply:

DA is revised twice a year (January and July) based on the AICPI-IW index. As DA crossed 50%, HRA also stepped up to 30/20/10%.
