PMJAY is the world's largest government health insurance scheme providing ₹5 lakh annual health cover per family for secondary and tertiary hospitalisation. It targets approximately 55 crore beneficiaries from the bottom 40% of India's population. Cashless treatment is available at empanelled government and private hospitals.
