A savings scheme for the girl child providing high interest rate and tax benefits, designed to ensure education and marriage expenses under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign.

• 8.2% interest rate per annum (Q1 FY 2024-25)
• Tax exemption under Section 80C up to ₹1.5 lakh
• Maturity on girl turning 21
• Partial withdrawal (50%) after girl turns 18 for education
• Minimum ₹250/year, maximum ₹1.5 lakh/year
