STEP provides skills that give employability and competencies to women, especially those above 16 years in rural and urban areas. It covers traditional sectors like agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, handloom, handicrafts, fisheries, and non-farm sectors like IT, travel/tourism, and hospitality.
