PMKVY is India's flagship skill development scheme enabling youth to take up industry-relevant short-term skill training. Currently in PMKVY 4.0 (2022-26), it focuses on new-age and Industry 4.0 skills. Successful trainees receive certification and placement assistance; prior learning is also recognised (RPL).
