Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme provided home loan interest subsidy of 3–6.5% to EWS, LIG, and MIG categories for purchase or construction of first house. The subsidy was channelled through National Housing Bank (NHB) and HUDCO. CLSS for MIG closed in March 2021; EWS/LIG component continued.
