Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation
Launched in September 2013 by restructuring SJSRY, the National Urban Livelihoods Mission aimed at reducing poverty and vulnerability among urban poor households through credit, skills training, and self-employment. NULM was renamed the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana — National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) in March 2016. The scheme continues under the DAY-NULM name.
