Launched in 2010-11 for 60 selected Naxal-affected and tribal districts, the Integrated Action Plan provided ₹25-30 crore per year per district as an untied fund for immediate visible development works including roads, schools, health centres, and livelihood activities. It aimed to address grievances of tribal populations in Left Wing Extremism-affected areas. IAP was replaced by the Special Central Assistance to Tribal Sub-Plan and the Aspirational Districts Programme.
