अधिक अन्न उपजाओ अभियान
Ministry of Food and Agriculture
The Grow More Food Campaign was launched in the early 1950s to address the chronic food shortage facing India after partition and the disruption of the Bengal famine. It encouraged farmers to bring more area under cultivation, adopt improved seeds, and use fertilisers. The campaign operated through state agricultural departments and the Community Development Programme network. It was superseded by the more structured IADP Package Programme from 1960 onwards.
