Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) — 21 regional boards — conduct recruitment for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC), Level 1 posts (Group D), Junior Engineer (JE), and other technical and non-technical posts. RRB NTPC is one of the largest single recruitment drives in India, often notifying 30,000–50,000 vacancies in a single cycle across posts like Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, and Senior Clerk cum Typist. 1. 1Visit the official website of your regional RRB (e.g., rrbcdg.gov.in for Central Delhi, rrbmumbai.gov.in for Mumbai).
2. 2Click on 'Apply Online' for the relevant notification. New users must register with name, date of birth, and mobile number.
3. 3Fill the application form: personal details, educational qualification, language medium preference, and preferred exam city.
4. 4Choose your regional RRB board carefully — you can only choose one board per notification.
5. 5Upload recent passport-size photo and scanned signature in specified dimensions.
6. 6Pay application fee: ₹500 for General/OBC/EWS; ₹250 for SC/ST/PwBD/Female/Transgender/Minority/EBC. Fee partially refunded after exam.
7. 7Download the application acknowledgement. Admit cards are sent to registered email and available on the RRB website.
