About This Scholarship

Chevening Scholarships are the UK Government's global scholarship programme, funded by FCDO and partner organisations. They are awarded to outstanding individuals with leadership potential to study any subject at any UK university. About 100 scholarships are awarded to Indian applicants each year.

Eligibility Criteria

Level of Study

Any eligible master's course at a UK university

Minimum Marks

2:1 equivalent bachelor's degree (60–65%)

Minimum 2 years of work experience
Indian citizen
Intend to return to India after studies

Shortlisted candidates are interviewed at British High Commission offices.

University offer

Selected candidates secure unconditional offers from 3 UK universities by July.
