📝How to Apply Online — Step by Step

1. 1Visit ssc.gov.in and click on 'Apply' in the top navigation. New users must register first.
2. 2Complete the one-time registration: enter your name exactly as on Class 10 certificate, date of birth, Aadhaar, and mobile number.
3. 3Log in with your registration number and password. Select the specific exam (e.g., SSC CGL 2026) and click 'Apply Now'.
4. 4Fill the application form: personal details, educational qualifications, preferred exam centres (3 choices), and post preferences.
5. 5Upload photograph (20–50 KB, JPEG) and signature (10–20 KB, JPEG) in the required dimensions.
6. 6Pay the fee (₹100 for General/OBC males; SC/ST/PwBD/Female: Nil) through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or credit/debit card.
